Bassil: FPM and national opposition are growing stronger

Free Patriotic Movement Political Relations Officer Gebran Bassil said that the guarantee over preserving calm in Christian areas depends on the commitment of every faction not to start problems.
"Talk about confrontations stretching into Christian areas are nothing but rumors," Bassil told the Lebanese daily Sada Al-Balad.
Commenting on the repercussions of Hizbullah's use of weapons on the popularity of the FPM, Bassil said, "They have denied us our popularity a long time ago. What do we have to left lose anymore?"
He also stressed on the fact the FPM and the national opposition are growing stronger.
