Hizbullah international relations offices Sayyed Nawwaf Mousawi made the following statement today:
The president of the United States was supposed to appear in front of the peoples of the region cheerfully, happy that he was capable through his internal tools in Lebanon of starting a raging fire that would besiege the resistance and drive it to surrender and hand over its weapons piece by piece, missiles and (communication) network...But his deception boomeranged at him and his endeavor failed.
The compliments of the American president on the so-called Prime Minister will backfire on him because it evidently reveals his truth as a tool in the American project. It also clarifies the fact that the battle launched by the ruling party on the resistance and the opposition is a purely American war.
As to his (Bush's) threat to employ battleships...it is as meaningless as an extinct dinosaur's threat...after his nose has been smeared in the mud from Iraq to Palestine and Lebanon.
As to his rude campaign against the Lebanese army even if he meant it to be a warning, it is a legion of honor on the chest of the national Army that has been careful in being in the circle of what gathers the Lebanese, not as a bat employed in the hands of a team that usurps authority.
The opposition which has been careful since the beginning to achieve (national) partnership is today, after the failure of the American project, ever more attached to this partnership and is more willing to help those who have derailed to get back on the right tracks of the comprehensive government.
