MP Anwar Khalil: I think we are heading toward a true settlement

MP Anwar Khalil of the Development and Liberation bloc headed by Speaker Nabih Berri said that the Lebanese have the will to find a solution.
"I think we are heading toward a true settlement, which will make up the basis of a new era of inter-Lebanese relations," Khalil told the Voice of Lebanon radio station.
"We are convinced that the Lebanese cannot live but through consensus. Our wounds are deep, but the Lebanese are capable of overcoming them," Khalil added.
He also said he expects Army Commander General Michel Sleiman to move in to the presidential palace in Baabda very soon.
"The obstacles that were preventing his election have been removed, and we are heading quickly toward his election as president," Khalil said.
