President Rouhani said that the US administration had delayed or exercised procrastination to implement the JCPOA and the subsequent extension of ISA is the blatant breach of the context of JCPOA.

President Hassan Rouhani demanded the foreign minister to take legal action against the US.

The president said that the complaint against the US is in line with a directive adopted by the Supreme National Council and the Iranian Supervisory Board monitoring sound implementation of the JCPOA.

The President demanded the foreign minister to initiate legal and diplomatic action against the US and report the outcome in one month.

Separately, the Iranian president had also ordered the AEOI to plan work on nuclear propulsion devices to be used in sea transport in response to the recent US violation.

The Iranian chief executive demanded that the organization draw appropriate plans to design and manufacture nuclear propulsion devices as well as the fuel required for them.

He instructed Ali Akbar Salehi, the head of the AEOI, to report back to him on the issue within a maximum period of three months.

The president said the measures were warranted in light of the US' foot-dragging in fulfilling its commitments under the multilateral nuclear deal - CPOA - and the recent ratification of anti-Iran legislation in the US Congress - ISA.

President Rouhani said Iran had warned that the approval of the ISA would amount to a breach of the JCPOA.
