The press conference of Qatari Prime Minister Sheikh Hamad Ben Jassem Ben Jabar al-Thani and Arab League Secretary General Amr Mussa has been postponed to a date that will be announced Tuesday evening. Meanwhile, Qatari state minister for Foreign Affairs Ahmad Bin Abdallah al-Mahmoud announced that the Arab Ministerial Committee had presented the ruling bloc and the opposition with two proposals for a solution that it sees as the best way out of the ongoing crisis. He said the committee agreed to extend the deadline until tomorrow under the request of one of the two feuding parties. Minister of Youth and Sports in Fouad Saniora's unconstitutional government Ahmed Fatfat said that the Qataris will make a third and final take-it-or-leave-it proposal to both rival sides.
