Trad Hamadeh: The majority has to know that they cannot take control of power
Source: Nowlebanon.com, 20-05-2008
Resigned Minister Trad Hamadeh said that "the internal struggles and conflicts are destined to reach an agreement," stressing that the opposition is expecting from the Doha dialogue an Arab unity that will lead to an agreement.
Hamadeh said, "The majority have to be convinced that they cannot take control of power, and we must reach an agreement in order to achieve partnership and reach a solution."
In the opening ceremony of the new office for the Ministry of Labor in Baalbeck, Hamadeh pointed out that "it is only a matter of time," and that the opposition is waiting for the Doha dialogue to achieve a partnership through "a just electoral law and a unity cabinet, as well as reactivating the democratic institutions by electing a president."
