Sukkariyeh hopes "wave of optimism" will last
Source: NowLebanon, 21-05-2008
MP Ismail Succariyeh of the Loyalty to the Resistance bloc praised the outcome of the Doha dialogue as a "victory for all Lebanese" that "opens the door to the return of normal life and the possibility of advancement." Succariyeh emphasized the Doha agreement as the "first step toward consolidating national unity" and expressed his hope that "the current wave of optimism" would continue.
In an interview with NOW Lebanon, the MP said the Doha agreement "took Lebanon out of the intensive care unit to the health care room," where it still required "immunization, care and understanding."
MP Succariyeh called for the stabilization of Lebanon and underlined the need for a unified national vision.
