Khreis aspires for a new era without fear and tension

MP Ali Khreis of the Development and Liberation Bloc stressed the importance of the Lebanese dialogue in Doha and said that it should be complemented by an understanding on the remaining points of disagreement between the Lebanese parties.
Speaking to reporters from his office in Sour, Khreis said, "Since the beginning of its existence, Lebanon has been living on partnership, and the political events we are experiencing today are the result of the national dialogue."
He said, "The day we will elect a president is the same day as the anniversary of the liberation, a day of honor for the Arab nation, Christians and Muslims." He also stated that all should respect the martyrs of the resistance.
"The revival of the democratic institutions -from the presidency to the national-unity cabinet and the electoral law - have given everyone hope for a new life without fear, tension and caution from the inside and outside," Khreis said.
