Berri: Suleiman election foundation of Lebanon political future

Speaker Nabih Berri said that the Doha Agreement is not a truce, as some are saying.
"Sunday's event will constitute the true foundation that will drive Lebanon toward a new political climate," Berri said, while noting the need for cooperation in this regard.
He also said that the election of Army Commander General Michel Sleiman will be an internal, Arab, regional and international occasion.
"There could be diverging points of view on any matter, and we must get used to it," Berri declared. "The solutions must be sought domestically, and foreign assistance must be dependent on internal consensus," he added.
