Arslan: "Saniora not a comfortable face"
Source: NowLebanon.com, 29-05-2008
The Head of the Democratic Party Talal Arslan said he hoped for a new start with the formation of a national-unity government, especially after the success of the Doha agreement.
"Fouad Saniora's face was not a comfortable face to the Lebanese in past years," he noted.
After meeting with PLO representative in Lebanon Abbas Zaki, Arlsan said that the parliamentary majority insisted on appointing Fouad Saniora as next Prime Minister "without taking into consideration the feelings of the Lebanese."
