Three Palestinians were wounded during an ‘Israeli' occupation army incursion into the south of the Gaza Strip on Sunday, Palestinian medics said.
The three fighters who belong to the Izzeddine al-Qassam Brigades, Hamas's armed wing, were wounded to the east of the city of Khan Yunis during an exchange of fire with an ‘Israeli' unit backed by aircraft. ‘Israeli' aircraft had conducted two raids in the area before the incursion, witnesses said.
The Qassam Brigades meanwhile, said in a statement that it detonated two improvised explosive devices in two infiltrating ‘Israeli' military vehicles east of Karara in the Strip. The statement added that the resistance group bombed ‘Israeli' military vehicles in the same area, in retaliation to the incursion.
