Hizbullah delegation visited Tashnak and NSSP to implement Doha agreement with good will
02-06-2008
A Hizbullah leadership delegation consisting of political council member Mahmoud Qomati, Ghaleb abu Zeinab, and Ali Ruzz along with member of Loyalty to the Resistance bloc MP Amin Sherri visited head of the Progressive Syrian Socialist Party Ali Kanso in the presence of Qassem Saleh, a member of the SSNP political bureau. The aforementioned met and discussed the overall state of matters.
A common statement was issued by those present stressing that the release of Nassim Nisr and his return to liberty was done in accordance with the resistance's rules. This matter is a prelude to freeing all the remaining captives and prisoners from the Zionist enemy's prisons. Those present at the meeting considered that what the resistance does to free the captives and land and confront the aggressions and greed of the Zionist enemy is a legalized natural right honored by international accords.
The statement also condemned the attacks the Lebanese Army has recently received on the hands of terrorist members, placing the assaults under the title of attempts to hit back at the elements of stability and security in Lebanon.
Those present also noted the insistence of some media sources in launching attrition campaigns on sectarian grounds, the matter which reflects a direction on behalf of the se sources to hit the willpower of consensus which the Lebanese agreed upon in the Doha accord.
The statement emphasized the importance of the representation of the national opposition in the upcoming government in a sense that reflected, in the least, its variations.
A Hizbullah delegation also visited the Tashnak party. They were greeted by the head of the Tashnak party Hovec Makhitarian and MP Agob Bakradonian, as well as former minister Seboh Hovenanian.
They discussed the country's current situation, and particularly the results of the Doha agreement and the means of implementing it "in good political intentions". Those attending the meeting also discussed the issue of the government formation and the distribution of ministries and how to cooperate to accelerate the government formation.
