Hobballah: Hizbullah does not have training camps in Iraq

MP Hassan Hobballah of the Loyalty to the Resistance bloc denied reports published by The New York Times claiming that Hizbullah was providing military training to Iraqi militias in Teheran.
"This is false information based on illusions," Hobballah told Al-Sharq Al-Awsat.

"It is part of the pressure that has been put on the resistance because it faced up to the July 2006 aggression," he added.

"Hizbullah does not have military training camps in Iran, nor does it have any for Iraqis, nor for others. The party does not have any activity beyond the Lebanese borders."

On the other hand, Hobballah noted that Hizbullah maintains ties and relationships with other resistance movements and with states that acknowledge the right of people to resistance.
