The Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc MP Amin Cherri wowed to NTV "the government bears responsibility for the incidents that occurred between May 7 and May 15. The repercussions of the Doha Agreement must be positive for Lebanon, and the opposition is committed to the Doha Agreement".
"The security forces must fulfill their duties in a normal way, and political cover must be lifted off of some parties. Only the state and the Lebanese army are responsible for the security of the people, he added.
Cherri said:" the security services and the judicial authority must look into the incident that happened with Imad Zaghloul. Hizbullah will not provide cover to anyone".
Hizbullah MP continued to say that "If an individual incident occurs, should we demand an investigation committee or bear our responsibilities? They [the ruling bloc] have tried to internationalize the whole situation. It is necessary now to put it under an Arab umbrella?
"We do not have veto power over anyone or over anyone handling any ministerial portfolio. The repartition of the portfolios is the responsibility of the prime minister, he concluded.
