Mikati: The delay in establishing the government negatively affects the situation

Former Premier Najib Mikati noted that the delay in establishing the government will have negative repercussions on the Lebanese situation, "especially on the boost that came after Suleiman's election."

Mikati also noted that the majority of the statements people have given on the government's establishment reflect their concerns about personal interests, not the country's.

"Where are the signs of national sovereignty if we, as Lebanese, cannot manage ourselves and need foreign sponsoring at every phase?"
