Sheikh Qassem: Doha Agreement will be implemented in full, delay of government formation will not change the equation
13-06-2008
Hizbullah deputy secretary general Sheikh Naim Qassem advised "commissioned Prime Minister Fouad Saniora to speed up the government formation since stalling would change nothing in the equation." His eminence stressed in a word during a celebration held by Hizbullah's Women's Organization to commemorate the passing away of Sayyeda Fatima al-Zahraa (AS) at Sayyed Abbas Mousssawi auditorium at the Qaaem Mosque that " Not a single letter will be altered in the Doha agreement; it will be implemented in whole."
He added, "In the past period we have proved that as a part of the opposition we have attempted to work politically in Lebanon in all ethics and discipline to call upon our partners in the country to participation till the Doha agreement was reached. What happened within the Doha agreement is exactly what we had been calling for for years. Therefore it is quite normal that we implement the Doha agreement with all happiness and delight since this agreement came as a result of realistic vision we had suggested and it was realized when the country was put on the tracks of participation, the matter we had been calling for. Names and details are not a problem."
Sheikh Qassem added, "Based on this, I advise the commissioned prime minister and all those who assist him in completing this government portfolio to speed up the formation process because delays are not beneficial and will change nothing in the equation."
