In an interview with MP Nader Succor with NTV, he commented on the current events saying, "I suggest giving the four sovereign ministries to the president. Determining the ministers is the president's responsibility, and neither the opposition nor the majority must interfere."

Succar added, "The issue of establishing a Christian front [as Aoun declared yesterday in Rabieh] has been around for ages, and preparations have been on for a while. The front is not an aggression on anyone, and its concern is preserving communal living in Lebanon, the national pact and the rights of Christians. There will be a memorandum and a political program on the issue."

He concluded, "If the government is not formed this week, we will start heading toward a worst-case scenario."
