In an interview with ANB Television, MP Nabil Nicolas of the Change and Reform parliamentary bloc commented saying, "There was an agreement in Doha, the basis of which was the presidential election. Today there is an attempt being made to go against this agreement."

Nicolas added, "How could the opposition obstruct the formation of the government while it is calling for participation? The majority is obstructing the formation of the government because it is happy about its own legitimization at the Doha Agreement."

He also commented on the portfolios saying, "The problem is not about ministerial portfolios or candidates, but about the repartition of the portfolios. We as a bloc deserve to get a sovereign ministry because of our representation among Christians."
