Moussawi: We will not draw back in the face of instigations

On the current political situation, Hizbullah International Relations Officer said, "At the present time, there is the Doha agreement, and it represents the minimum limit for us. Has we used weapons to alter the balance of power to achieve political objectives, the matter would have not lasted more than one day."

Moussawi added, "Today, we feel there is work on two paths. The path of implementing a political settlement, only on the basis of weakening the opposition. They will not succeed in this since in a year and a half, they weren't able to push the opposition backwards." He pointed to the fact that, "this time, they will not push it backwards. It will proceed forward."

Moussawi added, "There is a second path, that of sectarian instigation which they believe, in case they use it to harm us, that we would be frightened, and we would draw back and surrender on the basis that we are afraid of strife."

Moussawi stressed that, "We will not draw back in the face of all the instigations they use. Let them instigate at their will. Let them issue fatwas as well. Let anyone they choose take the pulpit and curse and talk in any manner....and if he says a single word, we will answer with ten!"
