Sheik Qassem: The Resistance is a vision, a methodology to follow

Hizbullah Secretary General Deputy Sheik Naim Qassem said that the Resistance is not just a military reaction to occupation.

"The Resistance is not only an armed group seeking the liberation of the land. It is not also a temporarily activity which ends when its cause cease to exist," Qassem declared.

"The Resistance is a vision and a methodology to follow," he added.

Qassem said that the building of a resistant society empowers Lebanon and strengthens its independence and sovereignty "according to our vision and not the one that some are trying to impose."

He also noted that Lebanese factions might have diverging stances over lots of matters. "Yet, there is no tameness over the matter of occupation."
