Abu Zeinab: Some did not learn their lesson after what happened
Source: nowlebanon.com, 23-06-2008
In an interview with OTV, member of Hizbullah politburo Ghalib Abu Zeinab said, "The pro-government party did not receive the Doha Agreement well because it does not have the spirit of participation. Thus, we can understand its ongoing campaign against General Michel Aoun and the FPM."
Abu Zeinab added that, "All the demands of the FPM, which represents a majority of Christians, must be taken into consideration, or a settlement should at least be reached. The pro-ruling bloc party has made an attempt to weaken the FPM."
Abu Zeinab stressed that, "The opposition has made the decision that the government ill not be formed without the FPM's participation. The exclusion of any party is a thing of the past."
He added, "Some did not learn their lesson after what happened, and some do not want the country to be rebuilt on the basis of participation. This is the reason why the government has not been established yet."
"It is not acceptable to profit from the internal strife to settle regional scores, whatever they are," Abu Zeinab concluded.
