Hizbullah Political Council member and former MP Ammar Moussawi reiterated his party's alliance with the Free Patriotic Movement, headed by General Michel Aoun, on Sunday.
Moussawi denied accusations that the opposition was hiding behind General Aoun. "But we are insist that he take his natural right to ministries," he added.

On rumors that Hizbullah had a hidden agenda, to disrupt the government formation in order to take control over Lebanon, Moussawi said that Hizbullah could and would have executed any hidden plots on May 7, 2008, before heading to Doha.

"We reassure all that after the victory in July 2006, Hizbullah is not afraid of anything, and when the resistance said it was ready to discuss all matters around the dialogue table, it was ... purely out of a sense of national responsibility," he added.
