Minister Sahili: Saniora is the problem, not Berri
Source: nowlebanon.com, 01-07-2008
Agriculture Minister Talal al-Sahili of the Development and Liberation bloc headed by Speaker Berri noted that serious efforts are currently being made to bring different points of view together and to form the government.
"MP Ali Hassan Khalil is in constant contact with Speaker Nabih Berri to inform him of the latest developments, and Speaker Berri has made lots of efforts to solve things," Sahili said.
"The problem does not come from Berri, but the commissioned prime minister, who must make more contacts and relate more with the concerned people," he added.
Sahili said he is meeting today with President Michel Suleiman.
"I will inform him of the state of the agriculture sector and the problems it is suffering from, especially after stopping the exportation of some kinds of crops."
