Ferzli: Aoun is rightful in his demands

Former MP Elie Ferzli of the Lebanese Opposition commented on the current political situation saying, "The president of the republic must be an arbiter and also preserve the balance of power between authorities. This is why he must form an interim government and launch a national dialogue on primary matters."

Ferzli added, "General Michel Aoun is rightful in his demands, and they have no right to reject them. He is a main partner, and Christians are partners in the system. Their partnership is not through the president, but through political forces that represent the Christians reality."
