Khalil: Formation of national unity government had reached "the final touches"

Hizbullah official Hussein Khalil described Saturday's cabinet progress as "positive and optimistic," noting that the formation of a national unity goveroonment had reached the stage of setting "the final touches on the names of ministers."

"The national opposition will be a key partner in this government, with Hizbullah and the Amal Movement," he added.

Khalil, a political aide to Hizbullah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, met with Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri in Ain al-Tineh and discussed the imminent prisoner swap with "Israel".
