Fneish: Swap deal confirms Hizbullah’s 2006 victory
Source: Daily Star, 07-07-2008
SIDON: Hizbullah Minister Mohammad Fneish said the prisoner exchange deal between Hizbullah and 'Israel' confirms 'Israel's' defeat in the summer 2006, as well as the "sole responsibility" of the 'Jewish' (Zionist) state and its collaborators for "all that happened."
Fneish made the comments during a speech to local government officials at a political meeting in the Southern town of Rashknaneh Sunday.
"We are waiting to execute the prisoner exchange, a deal which will add another accomplishment to the achievements of the resistance and bring new esteem to the dignity of the people of this country," he said.
"If we want to work for the sake of the country and benefit from our experience when assessing future dangers," Fneish said, "we must agree that this resistance fills a necessity in its readiness, the experience of its fighters, and its officers."
