Fneish: We are still waiting for the full implementation of the Doha Agreement

Newly-appointed Labor Minister Mohammad Fneish said that the opposition has been calling for participation from the beginning, adding, "We don't want to eliminate anyone."

"We are still waiting for the full implementation of the Doha Agreement," he said, noting that the first two clauses of the agreement were implemented with President Suleiman's election in May and the cabinet formation last week. Fneish noted that the adoption of an electoral law is the next step and called for a national dialogue roundtable.

Fneish said that opposition-aligned ministers will assume their duties based on the spirit of cooperation and want to "cut off" those who are trying to destabilize the country.
