Source: Nowlebanon.com, 23-7-2008
The Loyalty to the Resistance bloc congratulated the Lebanese people and the Arab and Islamic world for the victory Lebanon achieved in the Hizbullah-"Israel" prisoner swap, adding that "the Resistance broke the enemy's will, extracted its rights and preserved national dignity."
After its weekly meeting headed by MP Mohamed Raad on Wednesday, the bloc stressed the necessity of launching governmental work as soon as possible under "a united national vision that provides an adequate atmosphere to rearrange internal issues and help the state win back the Lebanese people's trust in order to reject any attempts at division."
The bloc also said it hoped that the ministerial statement would reflect this vision.
In its statement, the Loyalty to the Resistance bloc welcomed the "positive atmosphere" that accompanied Syrian Foreign Minister Walid Mouallem's visit to Beirut on Monday, and the will to correct Lebanese-Syrian relations according to the common interests between "the two brotherly countries."
