Iran aims to develop bilateral relations with Lebanon

Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki on Monday confirmed his appreciation for his country's bilateral relations with Lebanon.
After meeting with his Lebanese counterpart, Lebanese FM Fawzi Salloukh, Mottaki said he would work to develop communication between officials in both countries for "the benefit and interests of these two friendly nations."
Salloukh, who was in Tehran on Monday to participate in the Conference of Foreign Ministers of Non-Aligned States, thanked Iran for the aid it provided to Lebanon and its people.
