MP Raad: Protecting our country can be accomplished through national defense and nation building strategies

The leader of the Loyalty to the Resistance bloc MP Mohammad Raad said that Lebanon had entered a new period that could only be protected by Lebanon's "capacity for sacrifice and resistance, and our leadership's ability to thwart the enemy's attempts to infiltrate and demoralize our people."
"We are supposed to preserve the victory and successes achieved by the Resistance and its people," Raad said at a ceremony in the southern town of Zrarieh on Monday.
"Protecting our country can be accomplished through a national defense strategy that prevents the enemy from launching any attack against our country, and through a strategy for building a just state in which decisions are accepted by all despite their disagreements," Raad said.
"We will look for ways to develop a strong administration that respects the peoples' rights. We must also look for ways to ensure that the legal system is strong and transparent."
Raad also said that it was critical to formulate "a foreign policy based on the principle of defending the state against the Zionist enemy."
