MP Mekdad: Hizbullah more powerful than ever
Source: nowlebanon.com, 23-08-2008
MP of the Loyalty to the Resistance bloc Ali Mekdad said that Hizbullah is currently more powerful than during July War 2006 and stressed that the "resistance culture and spirit" must pertain.
In a ceremony for Hizbullah in Lessa-Jbeil on Saturday, Mekdad said that this cabinet must not be an electoral one; it must work day and night because the country is in danger at political, economic, and social levels."
Mekdad emphasized that the cabinet has a fundamental role "in building the new house" after the parliamentary elections," he added.
"We outstretched our hand to every honorable person in this country but it seems that some do not want this country to be unified, sovereign, free, and independent and time will prove them wrong," Mekdad said.
Mekdad doubted as well all the attacks on the Lebanese army, in reference to what has been said that the army allowed the flow of weapons to Baal Mohsen.
