MP Cherri: There is no legal relation between electoral districts and reforming the electoral law

Loyalty to the Resistance bloc MP Amin Cherri said that some March 14 alliance members support setting the issue of electoral districts in the parliamentary session on Tuesday, while the others are "delayers who are retreating from Doha Agreement."
He also confirmed to AL-Liwaa newspaper on Tuesday that his draft law on electoral redistricting respected the Doha Agreement.
"The draft law remains on the agenda of Tuesday's parliamentary session, and there is no legal, political, or logistical reason not to adopt it. On the contrary, speeding its adoption will give the Interior Ministry more time, and it will implement the Doha Agreement," he said.
"There is no legal relation between the electoral districts and reforming the electoral law," Cherri added.
