Casualties Reported After Suicide Car Bomb Blast in Herat

Several people lost their lives and many others sustained injuries by a suicide car bomb at Herat police headquarters in Afghanistan.

Al-Jazeera television now reported in a breaking news item that a car bomb had exploded in Herat, western Afghanistan.

The incident took place at the Herat police headquarters, killing and injuring several people.

Afghan officials have not yet commented on the matter.

No individual or group has claimed responsibility for the attack so far.
