Khreiss: Hizbullah is the basic force behind confronting "Israel"

Development and Liberation bloc MP Ali Khreiss said that members of the March 14 (US backed) alliance were trying to make Lebanon "wear an American mask to pressure Hizbullah, the opposition and Syria to implement the policies and conspiracies of the United States." He added that "the Resistance always wins in Lebanon and asserts its civilized Arab image."

During an occasion in the village of Burj Rahhal on Friday, Khreiss called on the cabinet to adopt a policy of equal development for all regions, and to resolve social and economic problems.
Khreiss said that international resolutions were a focal point for Lebanon's rights within the international community. He added, however, that Hizbullah remained the basic force that attacked "Israel" and responded to its attacks on Lebanon.
