Safieddine responds to Gheit: your history does not allow you to talk about Nasrallah
31-12-2008
Head of Hizbullah Executive Council Sayyed Hashem Safieddine responded to Egyptian Foreign Minister Ahmad Abu al-Gheit, who criticized Hizbullah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah's speeches on Egypt's position toward the situation in the Gaza Strip.
Sayyed Safieddine said that Gheit had no right to talk about "our leader and the Resistance's leader because your history and the history of your masters do not allow you to do so."
In a speech during third night of Ashoura , the ten-day Muslim festival, in Dahiyeh on Tuesday night, he added that Gheit was escaping reality and was trying to give an impression that his country was making efforts to solve the situation while "it is actually weak and incapable."
He recalled for opening the Rafah border crossing and said that some leaders were responsible for the current situation.
