Raad: Illusions on Hizbullah disarmament present even after "Israels" defeat in July 2006

03-01-2009
Loyalty to the Resistance bloc leader MP Mohammad Raad said, in a meeting for Achoura organized by Hizbullah on Friday night in Nabatiyeh, that the2009 parliamentary elections would be an extension of the 2006 July War.
"Those who could not force the Resistance to give up its weapons [through the use of] airstrikes and destruction, are now having illusions that they will achieve their goal through granting the majority of seats and calling for the disarmament of Hizbullah," he said.
Raad called on the people to make the final decision.
He said that that the situation in the Gaza Strip was also an extension of the 2006 July War and was aimed at raising the morale of "Israelis" after the Resistance defeated them in Lebanon.
He affirmed that the Gaza assault was in collusion with the Arab regimes. He called for being loyal to the Resistance in order to achieve victories.
He noted that Hamas and the resistant factions achieved victory five days ago, because "Israel" claimed that the battle needed only 48 hours, which, he added, has shown that it would lead to "Israel's" failure.
