"Israeli" aggression against Gazans entered Monday its tenth day as the Palestinian death toll reached 528 martyrs, including at least 87 children, and there are more than 2500 others injured.
In its latest massacres against the children, "Israeli" occupation army bombed Sunday afternoon a home in the Gaza Strip, killing a Palestinian mother with her four children.
At least 23 Palestinians have been killed in Gaza on the first day of "Israeli" ground operation in the Strip, medics said on Sunday, adding that some 200 people were wounded as a result of air strikes and "Israeli" ground fire.
Twenty people were killed in the north of the territory, two in Gaza City and one near Khan Yunis in the south, they said. Sources were quoted as saying that "Israeli" occupation army was shooting ambulances that are struggling to reach the wounded.
Occupation soldiers and Hamas resistance fighters were locked in gunbattles east of the Hamas stronghold of Zeitoun, witnesses said. "They have come to where we wanted and they will soon receive our gifts," a Hamas officer near the frontline said.
Meanwhile, electricity has been cut to the entire Gaza strip, adding to concerns of a growing humanitarian crisis.
On Saturday evening, Palestinian health officials in Gaza reported that 16 people had been killed, and 40 others injured, in another IAF bombing of a mosque in Beit Lahiya.
Press TV quoted Norwegian doctors who examined bombing sites in Gaza as saying that they have detected signs of deplete uranium in some bombed targets in the Strip. There was no comment by the Israeli military.
