Hizbullah's International Relations official, Nawwaf Moussawi, says that Lebanese resistance is observing its obligation towards its partner Palestine and stresses any attempt to attack Lebanon and its sovereignty cost "Israel" extensively.
Speaking to elnashra.com, Moussawi reiterated Hizbullah's position over the launch of rockets from Lebanon Thursday into occupied territories saying the party "did not have past knowledge of the incident." Nevertheless, he questioned the "unjustified thrill and the free reassurances" to "Israel" on the one hand and the silence on persisting "Israeli" breaches to UNSCR 1701, the last of which was the abduction of two Lebanese citizens by "Israeli" soldiers and releasing them later with clear signs of torture.
Moussawi rejected how some Lebanese parties are addressing this issue adding that "they ought not to blindly address such issues." He stressed the real position must underline that "any 'Israeli' attempt to attack Lebanon will cost 'Israel' extensively."
The Hizbullah official commented on the Egyptian media campaign against Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah describing it as "expected." "We are talking about media outlets in a country that does not sanction protests."
On Gaza, Moussawi pointed that "Israel" has failed to achieve the objectives of the war adding that the Zionist entity will not hesitate to engage in phase-3 of the aggression, which means battles in densly populated areas. "Practically, the ongoing battle is taking place in open areas, yet 'Israel' lost a number of its officers and soldiers." He also said that the third phase of the war will prove a real dilemma for 'Israel'."
Therefore, Moussawi concluded, the UN Security Council resolution on Gaza is a form of political exit for "Israel" through which the Zionist entity seeks to achieve its political goals which it failed to achieve militarily. He slammed the official Arab position regarding "Israel's" aggression as "shameful" and added that "they are not strange as the yielding regimes have always colluded against the resistance in Lebanon and Palestine."
