On the 15th day of the "Israeli" aggression against the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, "Israel" continued its bloody attacks in a bid to break the resistance's will in the Strip.
"Israeli" occupation army carried out more than 40 air strikes against Gaza overnight and into Saturday killing 21 Palestinians and wounding dozens others as the offensive enters its third week. As usual whenever "Israeli" army feels that it is falling in a deep quagmire during its battles with the Palestinian resistance fighters, it randomly starts to attack the civilians after it had failed to afflict the fighters any losses. Palestinian medical sources reported Saturday that eight Palestinians of the same family, including a 12-year-old child, were killed by an "Israeli" tank shell in Jabalya, a refugee camp in the north of the Gaza Strip. Earlier, five more Palestinians were also killed by "Israeli" tank shell in Jabalya.
According to medical sources in the Gaza Strip, the "Israeli" offensive has claimed the lives of some 821 Palestinians, including over 230 children and around 3,330 wounded.
In the early hours of Saturday morning Gaza residents said warplanes attacked a disused Hamas security compound in the southern town of Khan Younis, a market in Beit Lahiya, northern Gaza and several buildings in and around the Strip.
Moreover, at dawn the Quds Brigades, Islamic Jihad armed wing, announced the martyrdom of 2 of its resistance fighters by the "Israeli" occupation army.
"Israeli" Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni says that while "Israel" is not looking "to reoccupy Gaza", it will not end its military offensive until it has achieved its goals, which till now it hasn't.
The United Nations' main aid agency in Gaza, UNRWA, decides to resume aid distribution in the territory after receiving security assurances from "Israel".
Arguments over civilian deaths reached a peak on Tuesday after 43 people died as an "Israeli" attack on Jabalya in northern Gaza struck a UN school where they were sheltering, according to Palestinian emergency services.
United Nations human rights Chief Navi Pillay said the locations of all UN facilities were communicated to "Israeli" authorities and such air strikes were "totally unacceptable".
"ISRAEL" DROPS LEAFLETS SAYING IT WILL ESCALATE OFFENSIVE
In a bid to launch a psychological war against the steadfast Palestinians in the Strip, the "Israeli" Air Force has dropped leaflets on the Gaza Strip warning residents that it plans to escalate its two-week-old offensive. The notice says "Israel" is about to begin a "new phase in the war on terror."
