The Loyalty to the Resistance parliamentary bloc said on Wednesday that the"Israeli" aggression on Gaza failed in attaining its "announced" and "hidden" objectives. The bloc noted that the Palestinian resistance's perseverance frustrated the enemy and made it reach deadlock, whereby all its bets of reaching a settlement at the Palestinians' expense had failed.

In a statement it released following its periodic meeting headed by MP Mohammad Raad, the bloc stressed that the choice of resistance was the normal and legitimate choice in response to the Zionist occupation.

The bloc also said that any approach to stop the "Israeli" attack "by seeking to dump the resistance, weaken it, deny its legitimacy, which is the internationally-admitted and humanitarian right of any occupied people," was an illicit action. The bloc said supporters of such an approach maintain terrorism and crime, and they would be considered participants in the occupation and killing of civilians.

The bloc added that Arab countries should shoulder their nationalist responsibility and act to end the "Israeli" offensive and siege to urge the "Israeli" withdrawal from Gaza and open the border crossings, Rafah in particular. This would ensure necessary supplies reach the Palestinians.
The statement concluded that it was unacceptable for Arab countries not to shoulder their responsibility in freeing Gaza.
