Hajj Hassan: "Israel" and the US want to impose a settlement according to their conditions

Loyalty to the Resistance bloc MP Hussein al-Hajj Hassan said that Lebanon was concerned about the current confrontation between the Zionist enemy and the Palestinian population in Gaza, since it was an Arab country, a neighbor of Occupied Palestine, and it had a large number of Palestinian refugees as guests. He added that Lebanon had been under Zionist attacks and occupations before, and it would be affected by the results of the "heroic" confrontation in Gaza.
After meeting with Education Minister Bahia Hariri on Friday, Hajj Hassan said that Lebanon would take part in any urgent Arab summit, as President Michel Suleiman was participating in the Doha meeting. Lebanon would also foster all diplomatic efforts and provide assistance to the Palestinian people and their cause, he said.
Hajj Hassan warned against "Israeli" Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni's statement two months ago, when she indicated that the nationalist solution for the non-Jewish 1948 Arabs would be in their departure from the Zionist state. It was a clear statement about their prepared transfer and the "Israelis" vision of settlement, he said. "They do not want a reasonable solution for the issue," he said.
Hajj Hassan added the fighting in Gaza intended to cancel the resistance and consequently impose an agreement according to American conditions. This, he said, would allow the establishment of the Palestinian state based on "Israeli" conditions. He said that such a settlement meant less sovereignty and territory, elimination of the right to return and making al-Quds (Jerusalem) Jewish.
