Change and Reform bloc chief MP Michel Aoun said the opportunity that "Israel" had to complete its military offensive in Gaza ended without a solution and forced "Israel" to accept the fait accompli of a ceasefire.

In an interview with the An-Nour radio station Saturday, Aoun urged Arabs not to claim the victory of the Palestinian Resistance as their own political victory.
Aoun said Arab countries risked losing their political identity had Gaza not found victory. Arab states would also have had to deal with the imposition of resettlement, he added.

General called for solidarity with the Palestinian cause and the people of Gaza, stressing that the interests of Lebanon and all Arabs fell in line with that of Palestine, "because everyone will pay the price of failure."
