Speaker Nabih Berri submitted to the Administration and Justice Commission a draft law presented by Development and Liberation bloc MP Ali Hassan Khalil proposing the reactivation of the work of the Ministry of Design, renaming it the Ministry of Planning.

The proposal would also begin to nullify the laws and legislative decrees that formed the Council for Development and Reconstruction (CDR), Council for South, Central Displaced Funds and High Relief Committee. The law is to be included in the next parliamentary session, when it will be studied and discussed.
