Loyalty to the Resistance bloc MP Ali Ammar told OTV on Friday that Justice Minister Ibrahim Najjar revealed in his speech that Telecommunications Minister Gebran Bassil had asked him about the mechanism to deal with Intelligence taken from wiretapping, adding that "we did not receive any complaints from the UN International Independent Investigation Committee (UNIIIC) regarding Bassil withholding information."

"The so-called majority thinks everything it states is legal and constitutional," he added.
He said that questioning the work of Media and Telecommunications Commission head MP Hassan Fadlallah contradicted parliamentary procedure.

He stated as the parliamentary elections approached, some were trying to give the impression that Bassil, Energy Minister Alain Tabourian and some Hizbullah ministers were not doing their jobs properly.

He also said that if some services had any information on the alleged death threats targeting the two March 14 alliance MPs, they should hand the information to the concerned department.
He concluded by saying he had no knowledge of the alleged deal MP Walid Jumblatt struck with Speaker Nabih Berri over a parliamentary seat in the West Bekaa for Minister of State Wael Abu Faour.
