Sukkarieh: Hizbullah΄s telecommunications network must be protected from "Israel"

Loyalty to the Resistance bloc MP Ismail Sukkarieh said the parliament and cabinet should make efforts to end wiretapping.

In an interview with the Free Lebanon radio station on Saturday, Sukkarieh said that "everyone knows that wiretapping has occurred in Lebanon for a long time, in addition to all countries."
He added that Telecommunications Minister Gebran Bassil was attempting to achieve reform and that he welcomed Bassil's efforts.

"Hizbullah has its own network to be protected from the ‘Israeli' enemy," Sukkarieh said.
He also called on the cabinet to approve the 2009 draft budget as soon as possible.
