Iran: US Uncommitted to Gaza Truce

By Staff, Agencies
Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Nasser Kanaani stated that the US is not genuinely concerned about securing a ceasefire in Gaza Strip due to its continuous arming of the “Israeli” entity.
Kanaani criticized the US president's Gaza truce proposal at a Monday press conference.
“The US has consistently supported the Zionist entity in all crimes against Palestine, and there is no indication of seriousness in establishing a ceasefire in Gaza,” he added.
He emphasized that the US should have abstained from arming “Israel” if it truly wanted a Gaza ceasefire.
The Iranian spokesman cited “Israeli” resignations as proof of internal collapse and strategic defeat in Gaza.
He commented following Benny Gantz's resignation from the Zionist entity's emergency government amidst the Gaza assault.
