Baalbek-Hermel MPs: Our responsibility is also the Prime Minister΄s

A parliamentary delegation representing Baalbek-Hermel met with Prime Minister Fouad Saniora on Wednesday to discuss development projects and other issues affecting their region.

The delegation included MPs Hussein Hajj Hassan, Ali Mokdad, Ismail Sukkariyeh, Nader Sukkar, Marwan Fares, Nawwar Sahili and Kamal Rifai.

Following the meeting, Hajj Hassan said he hoped his region would be "taken into consideration for any of the development projects."

"There are some projects which are advancing, and some things that need to be discussed further," he said. "As MPs this is our responsibility but it is also the responsibility of the Prime Minister."
