Tehran - Secretary General of Palestinian Islamic Jihad Ramadhan Abdallah Shallah conferred with Expediency Council Chairman Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani here Wednesday evening.
In the meeting Rafsanjani said that Iran Islamic Revolution is a model for many world nations, adding that Victory and resistance of the Iranians against despotism and world arrogance three decades ago has became a successful model for different nations, especially for the Palestinians.

Referring to the undeniable victory of the Palestinians during the 22-day war in Gaza and the confessions of the Zionist leaders and their regional and international supporters to the humiliating failure of "Israel" he said, "That was one of the most important achievements of Palestinians in the uneven Gaza war."

The EC chief said that the Zionist regime that had always pretended to be oppressed, with their recent atrocities in Gaza and massacre of women, children and civilian people there revealed their nature and awakened the Muslim nations more than before.

Underlining the necessity of safeguarding unity among the Palestinian groups to enable them to resist against Zionist regime conspiracies, the ayatollah stressed that the victory of resistance in Gaza expanded the idea among Muslim nations that they can fight against armed enemy by relying on the immense power of faith.

He meanwhile assured the Palestinian official of the continuation of Iran's support for Palestinians against the Zionist regime.
Ramadhan Abdullah, for his part, appreciated the Iranian government and nation for their unlimited assitance and aides for the Palestinian resistance against the Zionist regime and elaborated on Palestine developments and particularly the present situation in Gaza.
