Sheikh Yazbek: Lebanon governed only through consensus & partnership homeland loyalists maintain this equation

In his response to those threatening to boycott the government should the opposition win the coming parliamentary elections, Hizbullah Shura Council Member, Sheikh Mohammed Yazbek said that Lebanon is only governed on the basis of consensus and participation.

During a rally organized by Hizbullah in the Hussainiya Hall of Al-Ain Town-Bekaa Valley, under his eminence's patronage-marking the victory of the Islamic Revolution and the commemoration of the martyr-leaders, Sheikh Yazbek said "those loyal to the homeland preserve the basis of consensus and partnership;" adding that "Lebanon can not be strong but through its resistance, army and its people."

Commenting on the "Israeli" elections results, Sheikh Yazbek reminded the Arabs of what Sharon had said and Livni confirmed regarding the Arab peace initiative that "it is not worth the paper it is written on."
