Loyalty to the Resistance bloc MP Hussein al-Hajj Hassan said that the difference between the oppositio's and March 14's views of the upcoming parliamentary elections were that the latter considered them "fateful," while the opposition viewed them as just an important election.

He said that it was illegal to try to win the elections through bribes, inciting sectarian clashes, false accusations or labeling some Lebanese as sovereign and others as not, which, he said, angered March 8 supporters and led them to carry out regretful and condemned incidents.

Hassan said that March 14 alliance should no longer talk about the period before the Doha Agreement since the agreement had called for "turning the page."

"We do not want to return to that phase," he said, and if the March 14 alliance wanted to accuse the opposition of particular things prior to the Doha Agreement, then the opposition has enough evidence and facts to do the same.
